Review: Pick Me Up by the Kettle Shed

Hello folks, hope you all had a lovely weekend! To kick start Monday I have the perfect tea on the table as part of my Kettle Shed tea review series. It's called Pick Me Up, a loose leaf tea, which, on opening up the packet, smells amazing!

The ingredients are simply peppermint, liquorice and spearmint, which work so well together. And just look how pretty they look!

On the side of the box there's a note about how to drink the tea, advising how long to infuse the leaves for. It doesn't say how much tea to infuse, which would be a good addition. I decided to go for a heaped teaspoon, popping the dry ingredients in my infuser and leaving to brew for 3 minutes as suggested.

The taste was lovely, refreshing and not overpowered by the liquorice. And the aromas were gorgeous! Definitely a tea to pick you up after a busy weekend or perfect for a post dinner drink to help the digestion system.

Next week I will be tasting a loose leaf tea, which is ideal as a bed-time drink. Stay tuned if tea is your thing!
